Shaping Soundscapes
Saturday 25 May, 1pm & 5pm
Justin Art House Museum, Prahran

3MBS Melbourne 103.5FM and Justin Art House Museum present Shaping Soundscapes—a new series in which visual art and music collide.

Immerse yourself in a multisensory experience as classical musicians respond to ARTitecture, an exhibition of works from the JAHM Collection that explores artists’ visions and commentary of the world around them.

This is a unique opportunity to attend a Q&A discussion with curators and musicians about their responses to the exhibition followed by a live performance curated by celebrated violinist, Kyla Matsuura-Miller.

Kyla Matsuura-Miller (violin), Natasha Conrau (violin), Merewyn Bramble (viola) and Campbell Banks (cello) will perform works by Hildegard von Bingen, Caroline Shaw, Bryce Dessner and Tōru Takemitsu, all while being surrounded by the artwork.

Ticket prices also include refreshments in the JAHM apartment after the performance.

Duration: The Q&A and music performance are around 60 minutes in total, followed by refreshments.
