Holly Reid completed the trainee presenter course in March 2015 and has since been filling in on different shows across the grid. Although this process is not new to her – she began her affiliation with radio on 3RPP (Radio Port Philip) presenting a children’s show – learning to present on 3MBS has added a new dimension in radio broadcasting.
Originally from the USA, Holly lived in Ballarat for many years, where she worked as a teacher and fundraiser. She completed an MBA and has since worked in senior management of a number of charities and arts organisations. From 1998 – 2001 Holly was the fundraising manager for the VCA, before serving as CEO for both Menzies Caring for Kids and for Variety Victoria.
Music has been a part of Holly’s life since she was a teenager, especially choral work and love of the guitar. Currently she sings with a local ladies choir, which in 2016 will enjoy a brief tour of the UK in July.
In addition to her volunteer work at 3MBS and as a bequestor herself, Holly has been coordinating the bequest program to encourage others to add a gift to 3MBS in their wills.
