After studying music at the University of Melbourne, Stephen McIntyre, AM took himself to Europe where he studied piano with Nadia Boulanger and Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli. He then pursued a successful career in Europe for many years before returning to Australia, adding an academic and teaching career to a busy performance schedule as a soloist, concerto and chamber musician and associate artist.
Stephen talks to Kiera Stevens about his long career and shares some of his favourite music, on Reflections at 4pm Sunday 7 February, repeated 3pm Friday 12 February.
