We’ve worked tirelessly to keep our listeners connected throughout lockdowns and restrictions, while also keeping our passionate volunteers safe and

Unfortunately the pandemic has taken a huge toll on the income that 3MBS would normally generate from sponsorship and events. This Radiothon we’re encouraging all of our listeners to subscribe, resubscribe or donate, to help restore our strong position. We are aiming high this Radiothon and are hoping for more listeners than even before to subscribe across the month. Please help us reach our goal!

When is the Radiothon?

The 2022 Radiothon gets underway on Sunday 1 May and ends on Tuesday 31 May.


Everyone who subscribes during this time receives a complimentary three-month digital subscription to Limelight magazine and goes into the draw to win one of the Major Radiothon prizes.
There are also oodles of fabulous daily prizes on offer.

What events are on during Radiothon?

Throughout the month there will be many live-to-air performances and outdoor broadcasts programmed to celebrate the revitalisation of Melbourne’s music scene. We will keep you updated here and on our social media pages as details are confirmed.

Each Wednesday evening in May during Radiothon we are proud to be presenting a new discussion series featuring a distinguished lineup of some of Melbourne’s women arts leaders. This will be a live ticketed event and more details of the Inspirational Women Arts Leaders series can be found here.
