Gillian Wills in conversation with Sarah Barzel
Gillian Wills is an academic, author and performer with a rich career in music and writing. She studied piano and classical guitar at the Royal Academy of Music and in 1991, the Academy awarded her an Honorary Associate for distinguished services to the music profession.
She was Dean of Music at the Victorian College of the Arts, University of Melbourne, during the 1990s.
As an author, Gillian explores creativity and personal transformation. Her latest book, Big Music, explores the egos, passions and deep humanity behind the teaching of classical music.
