Sally Rippin in conversation with Kiera Stevens
Best-selling writer Sally Rippin was always an avid reader but when one of her children found reading difficult, she became aware of the problems some children have in decoding words. She became an advocate for enabling all children to access stories in the way that suits them most.
Sally is Australia's highest-selling female author, having written many award-winning books. She’s the current Australian Children’s Laureate, and will spend two years as the national ambassador for children’s literature working with children, schools and the book industry, promoting her motto All kids can be readers.
