Dr Robin Wilson is a member of the acclaimed historical performance ensemble, Ironwood and also the Australian Octet. His Ph.D., which won a prestigious prize from the American Brahms Society, was on the historically informed performance of Brahms’ music. Robin is Resident Faculty at the Australian National Academy of Music and also teaches in the Rising Stars program at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Robin has studied and lectured in many overseas universities and institutions. In 2018 he received a national award from the Australian String Teachers’ Association for outstanding service to the string community.
