The 3MBS Patron Program presents the opportunity to provide a deeper commitment to the station.
3MBS patrons contribute to the ongoing sustainability of the station and may support particular projects funding or aspects of the station’s work.
Patron donations contribute to station operations, such as broadcasting equipment maintenance, tenancy costs, transmission costs and content for our music library—all things needed for the station to remain on air and online. Furthermore, donations contribute to live music projects by providing paid performance opportunities to Victorian musicians and producing unique and creative performance experiences across Melbourne.
3MBS patrons acknowledge the importance of the station’s work to preserve the broadcasting and recording activities of Melbourne’s own classical music and jazz community radio station for future generations of listeners and musicians.
When you become a 3MBS patron you will be invited to special events such as live music performances, open broadcasts and digital offerings, given the opportunity to meet a diverse number of emerging and established musicians and receive quarterly updates on what the station has achieved with your support.
You will also be listed in the monthly On Air subscriber magazine, event programs and online, or you may choose to remain anonymous.
The 3MBS Patron Program has six tiers of giving:
BRONZE $500 – $999
SILVER $1,000 – $2,499
GOLD $2,500 – $4,999
PREMIERE $5,000 – $9,999
PLATINUM $10,000 – $24,999
3MBS AMBASSADOR $25,000+
