Throughout November, Melbourne Symphony Orchestra will feature recordings of four world premiere concerts by leading Melbourne ensembles – Evergreen Ensemble, Melbourne Ensemble, Inventi Ensemble, and members of the Partridge String Quartet and Penny Quartet – on its digital platform MSO.LIVE.

From 10 November, Melbourne Ensemble, which is Ensemble in Residence at MSO, can be seen performing music ranging from Bach to Carl Nielsen. Inventi Ensemble will perform an intimate chamber version of Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade, arranged by Glynn Davies, available from 17 November. Then from 24 November, two halves of the Partridge String Quartet and Penny Quartet, who have been separated by border closures, will join forces to perform Brahms and Schubert.
