Antoinette Halloran and James Egglestone

One of Australia’s best-loved sopranos, Antoinette Halloran’s recent engagements for several major Australasian opera companies have included the title roles in Tosca and The Merry Widow, The Fox, Mrs Lovett (Sweeney Todd) and Lady Macbeth (Macbeth). In 2020 she will sing the roles of Tosca and Mrs Lovett, and also Olive (Summer of the Seventeenth Doll). Dual Helpmann Award winning James Egglestone is one of Australia’s finest tenors. Roles for State Opera of South Australia have included Laurie in Little Women and Nadir in The Pearl Fishers; for West Australian Opera – Nadir, Almaviva, Ismaele in Nabucco; for Victorian Opera – Don Ottavio, Ferrando and Peter Quint. Most recently, James has sung Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly, Lensky in Eugene Onegin, Cassio in Otello and Lysander for Opera Australia and Rodolfo (La bohème) for State Opera of South Australia. Antoinette and James will present a program of operatic favourites and highlights from musical theatre. Tickets: $28 Full | $23 Concession
