Elyane Laussade, one of Melbourne’s finest pianists, has delighted audiences on five continents for her imaginative playing, and has been featured many times on classical radio broadcasts. As a soloist, Elyane performs in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, the USA and in Europe. Elyane also enjoys a rich life of chamber music. Luke Severn – concert cellist, composer, and conductor – possesses a musical voice of great versatility and passion, and is noted for his expressive performances and dynamic and engaging personality. A highly sought-after chamber musician, Luke has performed in festivals throughout Australia, Europe and North America. This popular cello and piano duo offer a mixed program beginning with a Beethoven work to celebrate the sestercentennial of the composer's birth year. In addition, Luke's deep and rich bass-baritone voice will delight you with vocal gems. Each performer will also offer a solo work before joining forces again with Franck's powerful Violin Sonata.
