Trio Anima Mundi

International award-winning Trio Anima Mundi is one of Australia’s best-known chamber groups. Trio Anima Mundi continues its 'Piano Trio Archaeology' mission of presenting rarely-heard works from the piano trio repertoire and giving voice to forgotten composers and their music with their newest project - The Reissiger Project. Concert 1 juxtaposes two compositions which are constructed around the same tonal centre of F-sharp minor. The romantic melodies of Reissiger's Fourth Trio and the elegance of Boughton's Celtic Prelude are contrasted superbly by the dramatic language of Babajanian's trio.
