In August 1999 the organ in Holy Trinity Church was extensively rebuilt. Join us to celebrate the organ’s 20th anniversary with a concert featuring international concert organist Thomas Heywood. Thomas is one of Australia’s most accomplished organists, regularly gives recitals in Australia and overseas, and has recorded many CDs. His concert will include music by great organ composers such as Bach and Handel, and
transcriptions of well-known orchestral music such as Bizet’s Carmen and Strauss’s Radetzky March. He uses a video screen so that the audience can see his hands and feet. Sunday 11 August, 2.30 pm at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, cnr. Union Road and Montrose Street, Surrey Hills.
