To raise money to restore the beautiful 160-year-old Christ Church (14 Acland St, St.Kilda) the superb organ will feature works by Bach, Mathias, Duruflé, Mendelssohn and June Nixon. Lachlan Redd has performed Rachmaninov with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra after winning First Prize at the 2000 International Youth Music Festival in St. Petersburg. He has performed internationally as a soloist and recitalist appearing with all major Australian orchestras on ABC TV and FM. He is Assistant Organist at St. Paul's Cathedral. His piano performance of Beethoven's First Piano Concerto saw The Australian report on his "Breathtakingly impressive technique".
