Here and Beyond

The first concert for 2023 by the Preston Symphony Orchestra ranges across the galaxy to close to home.

The program includes Jupiter, arguably the most joyous of Holst's Planets, and Vaughan Williams' Symphony No 2, the London symphony. And between these, a celebration of Preston itself, with a performance of 'The Preston Suite', commissioned by the orchestra to capture the sounds and mood of Preston from morning to night.
