Trio Anima Mundi

International award-winning Trio Anima Mundi has been presenting concerts that bring an eclectic mix of repertoire from the great masters to little-known works since its inception in 2008. Praised as a 'trio of vitality, charm and aplomb' (The Age), the Trio's members - Kenji Fujimura (Piano), Rochelle Ughetti (Violin), Noella Yan (Cello) - are seasoned performers and have gained a reputation for excellence and a sumptuous sound world. Trio Anima Mundi presents their eleventh subscription series - Wanderings - in 2018. Each concert in this 3-concert series showcases an Australian composer. Alongside these works, Trio Anima Mundi continues its 'Piano Trio Archaeology' mission of presenting rarely-heard works from the piano trio repertoire as well as works of the canon such as Dvorak and Mendelssohn. Aligned to International Womens Day held in March, Concert 1 present the works of three women, Fanny Mendelssohn, Rosalind Ellicott, and Melbournian Katherine Rawlings.
