Mana Ohashi Violin & Elyane Laussade Piano

The Austral Salon of Music presents up and coming violinist Mana Ohashi with Elyane Laussade on the piano. Mana is studying with Robin Wilson at the National Academy of Music where she was an Athenaeum Club prizewinner for her performance of the Sibelius Violin Concerto in d minor in the ANAM Concerto Competition. She has been selected to take part in the upcoming Mahler Chamber Orchestra Academy program to be held in Germany in November. Elyane is well known to 3MBS audiences through her participation in all six 3MBS marathons as a soloist and chamber musician, as well as in regular studio recordings and live broadcasts. Mana and Elyane’s program includes Australian composer Anthony Wilson’s Une Idée, Sonata No. 1 in G major by Brahms, Chausson’s Poème and Arvo Pärt’s Fratres. Concert 12.30pm - 1.30pm. Refreshments from 11.45 am in the Hall. BYO sandwiches. Tea/coffee and cake provided.
