A Christmas Fanfare

Melbourne Bach Choir welcomes the Christmas season with A Christmas Fanfare – a concert of choral pieces by composers from Sweelink to Pinkham via Palestrina, Poulenc, Britten and more, of course including Bach. Well-known carols are programmed for audience participation.

The full Melbourne Bach Choir and the MBC Chamber Choir will be conducted by founding Artistic Director Rick Prakhoff and accompanied by organist Calvin Bowman and a brass ensemble of trumpets, horn, trombone and tuba.

Two performances will be given:
In Brighton at St Andrew’s Church, New St on Saturday 2 December at 7.30pm
and in Ballarat the Ballarat Central Uniting Church, Lydiard St South on Saturday 9 December at 2.3opm
