Andrew Anderson studied both music and science and after graduating from Optometry, continued to work in both fields. He is currently researching glaucoma at the University of Melbourne and composing beautiful classical music, which is performed and recorded in Australia and overseas. He undertook postdoctoral work in the US and the UK, where he joined choirs and continued composition. Andrew talks about his careers and remembers the influence of one of his secondary teachers, the late 3MBS volunteer, Hector Walker. You can hear his conversation with Kiera Stevens on Reflections by clicking on the arrow below. (This interview was first broadcast on 3MBS on 2 September 2018).
