Reflections: Paavali Jumppanen

Finnish piano virtuoso Paavali Jumppanen has recently taken up his three-year appointment as Artistic Director of the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM). This year he will divide his time between Helsinki and Melbourne, before relocating here full-time next year. Paavali has extensive experience as a performer, festival director, recording artist and educator, and is a long-standing friend of ANAM. He regularly performs as a soloist with orchestras in Europe, North America, Japan and Australia, and is an award-winning recording artist.
