Reflections: Kate Durham

The life of artist Kate Durham changed direction in 2001 when the Tampa incident, which altered the Australian political debate, inspired her to become an activist for the rights of asylum seekers and refugees. She set up Spare Rooms for Refugees, an online register of people who welcomed asylum seekers into their homes, as did Kate.
Hear about her work as an artist and an activist, find out what motivates her and the music that is special to her, in a conversation with Kiera Stevens on Reflections at 4pm Sunday 25 July, repeated 3pm Friday 30 July.
