For many years Professor Raimond Gaita was the Foundation Professor of Philosophy at the Australian Catholic University and Professor of Moral Philosophy at King’s College London, and is currently a Professorial Fellow in the Melbourne Law School. He is the author of many notable philosophical books, including A Common Humanity and The Philosopher’s Dog. His memoir Romulus, My Father touched a wide audience. Later made into a film of the same name, it’s the story of his childhood in Central Victoria.
