Details

Dr Julie Cotter is an art historian specialising in portraiture and the work of nineteenth century Australian Impressionists, in particular Tom Roberts. She is passionate about her work, has some fascinating insights into identity and what makes a great portrait. Her latest project is a study of those portraits that never saw the light of day because they were destroyed before the public ever got to see them. You can listen to her conversation with Ted Davies on Reflections by clicking on the arrow below.  (This interview was first broadcast on 3MBS on 30 June 2019.)
