Reflections Guest: Diana Doherty
The youngest of nine children, all of whom learnt musical instruments, oboist Diana Doherty is one of Australia’s pre-eminent and most loved musicians. A great exponent of oboe repertoire, she lights up the stage as a soloist, part of a chamber ensemble or a long-time, highly regarded member of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. She combines a faultless technique with an exuberant style.
