Reflections: Dr Mario Dobernig
Austrian-born conductor Dr. Mario Dobernig studied in Graz and in Finland before arriving in Melbourne to study with Professor John Hopkins. He’s since led a busy life including conducting the Victoria Chorale, the Art of Sound Orchestra, and working in many overseas countries. His repertoire encompasses classical, romantic and contemporary music.
