Alexander Briger AO, is an Australian conductor of international standing who’s won numerous awards and worked extensively with such conducting luminaries as Sir Charles Mackerras, Sir Simon Rattle and Pierre Boulez.  In 2010, he founded the Australian World Orchestra, which invites top expatriate Australian musicians to come home and form a unique world-class orchestra with leading orchestral musicians in this country.  

To celebrate the AWO’s 10th anniversary, hear Alexander talking with Loretto Perkins on Reflections at 4pm Sunday 23 May, repeated 3pm Friday 28 May.
